| I'd like to blame it all on my five
year old, since there's a bad sort of association when admitting that you
actually watch or read anything concerning Martha Stewart, unless it was
Court TV. When I was a teenager I used to watch her half hour show all the
time. I even had a subscription to MSL at one point. So Megan and I have
been watching Martha, the new day-time talk and craft show. And here's the
first thing we've been compelled enough to make to actually follow through.
It was dead easy. |
Glittery
Pumpkins |
| Step1: assemble
your stuff. Here I have fake pumpkins, a paint brush, some fine glittler,
a paper bowl, Elmer's Glue, and 3 sheets of paper: 2 white for glitter
capture, and 1 of cardstock to protect my counter top. |
| Step2: get
the paintbrush all gluey. I just love this part. Don't worry about
over gluing, because you can always spread it around the pumpkin a
little. |

| Step3: Liberally
paint glue all over your pumpkin, but do it in stages. Yes it looks
nasty, or maybe tasty, depending on your POV. But soon it will look
glitterific! |
Step4: GLITTER!!Don't
worry if it looks like alot, I spilled nearly an entire thing of
glitter on my pumpkin and then poured the stuff on the paper back
in. |

| |
| The end. It doesn't look so
bad if I do say so myself. The glitter is quite adhered to the pumpkin,
I tried the shake test this morning with very little glitterfall,
so I'd call it a success. If you want the directions directly from
